Detroit Homebuyer Readiness Fair draws 100+ at Heilmann Rec Center.
On September 27, we hosted a community Homebuyer Readiness Fair in Detroit with Guild Mortgage and local partners, drawing more than 100 attendees. The event connected families with resources on the path to homeownership and celebrated the city's growing commitment to expanding opportunity.
Attendees met loan officers, got prequalified on-site, and walked through the mechanics of the Shared Appreciation Mortgage — the no-monthly-payment second lien that powers the program. Q&A ran past the scheduled close.
Thank you to everyone who participated, and to Heilmann Recreation Center for hosting on Crusade Street.
